Every sale states the total payable before you sign, computed from that sale's own terms. Reading it there is the point: it is the number your wallet is asked to agree to, and it is the one that cannot be out of date.

Why this page names no percentages

Fee terms belong to the sale contract rather than to a help page. They are written when the sale is deployed, and a sale can carry the terms set for the work it sells. A figure copied into documentation goes stale the first time it changes, and a stale fee page is worse than no fee page — so this one explains the shape and leaves the number where it is enforced.

What can appear in the breakdown

• A platform fee on the sale.
• An insurance and custody fee on high-value works, quoted for a holding period rather than charged once at purchase.
• A buyer premium, on sales where one is configured.

Checking it on chain

The sale's address is on the page, next to the explorer link that the Owner block carries, and a contract's terms can be read there. Anything sent to you privately that names a price or an address is worth comparing against the page before you sign.
