Release, drop, mint
- Release — a work, or a body of work, published under a collection.
- Drop — a release with a minting window.
- Fixed-price mint — a drop where every edition costs the same, in the currency the drop names.
- Studio drop — a drop registered through the studio, with artwork whose parameters are set by the artist.
Auctions
- English auction — open bidding until the window closes, with the reserve set at deployment.
- Spotlight auction — a single-lot auction presented as an event, with its own settlement.
Dynamic artworks
A dynamic artwork is minted against a set of parameters — the axes a drop defines. The values a token carries are bound when it is minted; what the preview shows is produced from those values through the mapping the drop recorded.
Collector tier
A tier shown next to a collector's address, computed from on-chain purchases, holdings and tenure.
Custody and certificates
Some works are held in a vault with a defined set of owners and a signing threshold, in which case the artwork page and its certificate name the owners rather than a single address.
